-Keroro Welcome back to another edition of the preview guide! Today, we do things a bit differently.
(Due to the undeniable length of this post, it is under a "read more".) Welcome back to Anime R' Us! Keroro and Tamama recently went to an anime club over at the community library.
--- KERORO'S IMPRESSIONS: Awesome. I got some bookmarks of Fullmetal Alchemist, Kekkaishi, and Naruto and a Naruto button. Also some non-anime-related candy for introducing myself. We watched Papuwa and Gakuen Alice. Papuwa was really weird, and Gakuen Alice was decent, I guess. Though anime is often more fun when you watch it with a group of people. I also got two volumes of Attack on Titan from the library. --- TAMAMA'S IMPRESSIONS: (TAMAMA ADD YOU We've tackled 80's, we've tackled 90's, but get ready for 70's!!!!!!!! We aren't talking about afros and elevator shoes, we're talking anime!!!!!! This week i (Tamama) will be watching 70's shows for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Stay tuned!!!!!
Keroro here with a special review. Wow, Project A-Ko, that was some movie...
I have heard plenty of times that Project A-Ko is a "classic". So I challenged that theory. And I can say, it is almost accurate. The movie does have its weak spots (mostly the long drawn out scenes in space before the big twist in the movie...no, I'm not telling you what it is), but it's still a pretty good film for me. While no longer in print in America, it can be found pretty easily on Amazon, and if you're a cheapskate like me, it's on YouTube dubbed and subtitled. Overall Rating: 8/10 Recommended for fans of: Comedy, action, parody Rated: PG-13 (however a G-rated version for the youngest audiences is available on YouTube by searching "Project A-Ko Just for Kids"; to be honest, the film is pretty tame uncut, other then a few sprinklings of mild language and some violence. It should be fine for kids above the age of, ah, 9 or so. Until next time, Keroro out!
